Gina Jensen is moving into her 30th year of collegiate teaching and coaching. Gina teaches primarily courses in relational communication, argumentation, presentations, and listening. Additionally, she is a Hall of Fame speech and debate educator, having coached over 30 national champions and eight All-Americans. Gina is nationally recognized for not only teaching excellence, but also for her tireless service and visionary leadership. She has is a past-president of Pi Kappa Delta, the nation’s oldest and largest speech and debate honor society. She is also a member of their Hall of Fame—one of only four members to be inducted while still actively coaching. Gina has also won several national and regional teaching and service awards. Gina is a practitioner of what she teaches. She has provided professional training to several professionals in both one-on-one and organizational settings. She has also served in consultation and service roles for both individual schools and school districts at the K-12 level, providing insights into a variety of curricular and communication matters. Gina’s dynamism as a speaker and a leader is inspired by her empathy and passion for families and a world that celebrates understanding and connection. She is a mother of three adult children, married to a fellow communication educator, and a fan of spontaneous conversation and making memories with her family.
